Stephanienufer Promenade

The Stephanienufer in the Lindenhof district is Mannheim's most beautiful Rhine promenade and runs right along the bank of the river. The tree-lined path invites strolling, jogging and cycling and offers wide views across the Rhine to the Palatinate side opposite. Park benches, green spaces and landing stages for excursion boats make the bank a popular local recreation spot. The promenade develops a special charm above all at sunset. The Stephanienufer is the place where Mannheim comes closest to the Rhine.
