At around 41 hectares, Luisenpark is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Europe. The popular Gondoletta boat ride glides across the Kutzerweiher pond through the grounds, while the plant show house unites tropical and subtropical worlds under glass. Themed gardens, a butterfly house, open-air grounds and animal enclosures make the park an experience for all generations. For the Federal Garden Show in 2023, Luisenpark was comprehensively modernised and extended with new attractions. It is Mannheim's green oasis on the Neckar side of the city.
