Speicher7 Hotel

An old grain warehouse converted into a boutique hotel: the Speicher7 stands directly on the Rhine harbour in the Jungbusch and treats its industrial architecture as something to live in rather than to exhibit. Bare walls, high ceilings and the view over the harbour basin shape the stay, and there is a bar on site. The surroundings match: cranes and warehouses on one side, the bar and club scene of the Jungbusch on the other, with the Pop Academy only a few streets away. The Squares are roughly ten to fifteen minutes on foot. If you want to experience Mannheim as a harbour and music city, this is the address - if you want classic hotel comfort, it is not.
