Eichbaum is Mannheim's brewery, and the Brauhaus is its hospitality flagship. What is served is what you would expect: freshly tapped house beer and hearty brewhouse cooking, in generous rooms and with a correspondingly robust operation. The place has been a meeting point for decades and works for groups just as well as for an after-work beer. For visitors it is one of the few addresses where a regional product can be tasted at source - the equivalent of the brewery inn in other cities. If you expect refined cooking you are deliberately in the wrong place; this is about beer and what goes with it.
