Herzogenriedpark

Herzogenriedpark in the north of Mannheim was created for the Federal Garden Show in 1975 and is today a popular green and recreational area of the Neckarstadt. Wide meadows, themed gardens, animal enclosures and large playgrounds make it especially popular with families. The world-famous Multihalle, an architectural masterpiece, stands within the park. Events, a petting zoo and water features round out what is on offer. With its diverse leisure facilities, Herzogenriedpark forms, together with Luisenpark, one of the city's green lungs.
