Alongside the hotel, the Speicher7 in the Jungbusch includes a bar with a kitchen that picks up the industrial character of the old grain warehouse: bare walls, high ceilings, a view over the harbour basin. Drinks and a manageable food menu are served, designed more for lingering than for an extended dinner. Because the building stands directly on the water, the terrace is the real draw in summer. Hotel guests and locals mix here, and the bar works both as the opening act for a night in the Jungbusch and as a quiet way to end one. The Squares are roughly ten to fifteen minutes away on foot.
